COMMUNICATIONS | DIGITAL CONTENT | VISUAL STORYTELLING

ATTN: READER

Ever since I was a child, it was clear that I had a natural affinity for people. Conversation was always the thing I valued most (and still do). Through those conversations, I discovered a deep appreciation for storytelling and the way a good narrative can capture emotion, perspective, and pure expression.

Growing up with deaf family members also shaped the way I understand communication. It made me aware early on that being heard and understood is not something everyone experiences with ease. That perspective strengthened my appreciation for language, connection, and the responsibility that comes with effective communication.

When it came time to choose a path for myself, I knew I wanted to pursue something rooted in those values. I chose to study Communication at Texas A&M University, where I developed skills in writing, media, design, and strategic storytelling while continuing to nurture the passion that first inspired me.

Today, I hope to use those skills to create work that is thoughtful, engaging, and meaningful. I believe strong communication is built on more than just good writing — it is built on understanding the relationship between speaker and listener, story and audience. Those interactions, to me, are what make us human.

This portfolio is a reflection of that perspective. Within it, you will find a collection of my professional, creative, and academic work, each project representing a step in my growth as a communicator and storyteller.

Thanks for being here.

Yours truly,
Anna
